Whiz Kids Volunteer Sign-Up

You can change the life of an at-risk child. Become a Whiz Kids tutor! Tutors meet with the same child each week during the school year to work on math and reading and build positive, caring relationships. Learn more about the Whiz Kids program. If you are interested in becoming a tutor, read on.

Next Steps

New and returning Whiz Kids volunteers need to complete our online Whiz Kids application. We accept online applications beginning in August each year. The application will take about 15 minutes and needs to be completed during one sitting.

Applicants must be over the age of 16 and have no criminal history.  For more details about tutor eligibility, please read the policies below.
