Every
day of the year, the Mission serves a hot breakfast meal to 100
or more guests. Volunteers, church groups and the Mission's foodservice
manager prepare the meals, served at 6:15 a.m. A brief devotional
study is presented preceding each morning's meal. As available,
sandwiches are given out at breakfast time for our guests to take
to work or eat at another time of the day.
Dinner is served
at the Mission seven days per week to 100 guests or more. As with
breakfast, the hot, nutritious meals are prepared by volunteers,
church groups, and the Mission's foodservice manager.
Prior to dinner,
all guests must attend either the chapel service, a discipleship
class, and/or a support service that is being offered that evening.
These support services include our after-hours nurse clinic, HIV/STD
education and testing and other helping services as they become
available.
