Whiz Kids Summer Camp

We're pleased to offer our Whiz Kids students the opportunity to attend summer camp at King's Domain! King's Domain is located just 30 miles northeast of Cincinnati, in Oregonia, Ohio. At King's Domain you'll find 120 acres of hardwood forests, creeks and hills surrounded by 1,000 acres of state and private timberland.

2012 Camp Experience

To accommodate busy summer schedules, four different weeks are available. Please choose one camp week for your student:

• June 12-15, 2012
• July 10-13, 2012
• July 17-20, 2012
• August 7-10, 2012

During your students’ 4 day/3 night stay, he or she will experience all of the fun of summer camp with activities like swimming, canoeing, drama, games and art. Each camper will be assigned to a cabin with 6 other students of the same gender and similar age, as well as a King's Domain camp counselor.

The fee per camper is only $25 (or $50 total per family). Checks should be made out to Whiz Kids. This will cover all costs for the week including food, activities and transportation. You will have the option of dropping off/picking up your child at camp or bussing to and from camp will be available from Crossroads Church. 

Eligible Students

Active Whiz Kids students will be accepted first (on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of a completed application and payment). Then, on a space available basis, we will accept siblings of active Whiz Kids students, former Whiz Kids students and special request students. You will be notified by the Whiz Kids office as soon as your child has been accepted to summer camp.

Space is limited so please return the application to your Whiz Kids site as soon as possible but no later than Friday, May 25.  If your child’s Whiz Kids program has ended, please mail your application and payment to City Gospel Mission, Attn:  Whiz Kids Summer Camp, 1947 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219.
