Character Basketball

Character BasketballThe Character Basketball League is a fun and exciting way to reach out to at-risk youth with the love of Christ. Designed to build Christ-like character, the League emphasizes personal growth rather than competition.

Games are based on the philosophy that everyone plays, everyone is a winner, good character counts, and respect is the rule. Behavior and attitude are crucial elements of the Character Basketball League. Greg Leisinger, league facilitator, says, "This League isn't just about basketball. It's about where the kids will be in five or ten years and the people they will become."

Teams are sponsored by local churches, and children 8-13 years old may participate. Equipment and referees are provided.

If you or your church would like to learn more about the Character Basketball League, please contact Greg Leisinger at (513) 295-5557.
