Men's Aftercare Program

City Gospel Mission's Men's Aftercare

City Gospel Mission’s Aftercare Program bridges the gap between the residential Exodus & Work Programs and independent living. Alumni of these programs receive the next level of relational and professional resources needed to achieve real change in their lives.

Aftercare Program members attend weekly support groups and trainings, meet with staff regularly, submit to drug tests, and continue to receive support and services as needed from City Gospel Mission.

Teams of mentors hold the men accountable and provide support and training on a regular basis. Mentor "specialists" are available to counsel participants in the areas of careers, family, sobriety, prayer and more.

Program alumni are eligible to stay in one of the Aftercare Program’s Magnolia Street Houses located on the campus of City Gospel Mission. These homes provide a semi-independent environment where participants have a chance to further develop the life skills learned in the Exodus & Work Programs, maintain steady employment, and reinforce habits of a healthy lifestyle with the support of caring staff and volunteer mentors.
